Payments and refunds
Last updated 26 October 2026
How the free trial works, when the first payment is taken, how to stop it, and when you can have your money back.
The free trial and your first payment
- Premium starts with a 7-day free trial. You add a card through Stripe or Safepay to start it; nothing is charged during the trial.
- At checkout you ask for access to start straight away and tick a box to confirm you understand when you’ll be charged.
- The first payment is taken when the trial ends, on the date shown at checkout and on your account page. After that the same amount is taken every month until you cancel.
- One free trial per person and per card. If you’ve had a trial or plan before, Premium starts paid from day one.
Other ways to pay
- Bank transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa: no card and no trial. You pay for 30 days of Premium in advance; it doesn’t renew and simply ends unless you pay again.
- Complete Package (when offered): one payment for 4 months of Premium. It never renews.
If you buy prepaid time while you still have some, the new period starts when the current one ends, so you never lose days. Current prices are on the pricing page.
For bank and wallet payments, pay using the details shown at checkout, then send us the transaction reference and, if you like, a screenshot of the receipt. Our staff check it against the statement and switch on Premium once it matches. Each transaction reference can only pay for one order.
Cancelling
During the trial: cancel from your account page and you are never charged. You keep access until the trial would have ended, then learning pages close until you start a plan.
After the trial: cancelling stops the next payment; you keep Premium until the end of the month you have already paid for. If a monthly payment fails we keep Premium on for 7 days while you update your card, then it ends.
Prepaid plans never take another payment, so there’s nothing to cancel.
Subscribing in the iPhone or Android app
If you subscribe in the TestReady by Nexus iPhone app, Apple takes the payment through your Apple ID; in the Android app, Google takes it through your Google Play account. The store’s own terms for purchases apply, it sets the price in your country and shows it before you confirm, and it offers the free trial once per account.
- Cancelling on iPhone: Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then TestReady by Nexus.
- Cancelling on Android: open the Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then TestReady by Nexus.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current month ends to avoid the next charge.
- Refunds: the store handles refunds for its payments: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google through Google Play’s refund request. We can’t refund them ourselves.
Refunds
- Your 14-day right to cancel: if you cancel within 14 days of starting your trial (or of buying, without a trial) and a payment has already been taken, we refund it in full.
- Otherwise, if Premium isn’t right for you, email orders@testready.live within 7 days of a payment and we’ll refund that payment in full.
- After that we don’t refund part-used months or packages, but you can stop future payments at any time.
- A full refund ends the Premium that payment bought straight away and stops future payments.
- If we agree a partial refund (for example after a fault on our side), you keep Premium to the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds go back the way you paid: to your card through Stripe or Safepay, or to the bank account or wallet you paid from. Card refunds usually take 5 to 10 working days to appear.
- We don’t refund payments made with a fake or altered receipt, or accounts closed for breaking our terms.
